Death of Elder William Ward Simpson

The Battle Creek Enquirer of May 1 reports the death of Elder William Ward Simpson at Los Angeles, Cal. Elder Simpson, since his arrival in California, had been engaged in holding series of meetings in various cities, with remarkable success. The meetings in Oakland, which were reported through the REVIEW, resulted in a very substantial increase in the church-membership, and brought courage to the hearts of the brethren and sisters there.
