WE have just closed a few meetings at Jasper, with good results. On Sabbath, May 17, Bro. W. C. White was with us, to look after the Sabbath-school interest, and to give instruction in that branch of the work. Much interest was manifested and some advanced steps were taken.

Sunday, after a discourse on baptism, we repaired to a creek near by, where six willing souls were buried with their Lord and arose to walk in newness of life. The occasion was pleasant and impressive. In the afternoon we organized a church of eleven members. The Bible system of tithing was adopted. M. B. MILLER.
