Magazine Poll Favors House Reform

In a vote taken by the Success Magazine on the question of reform in the House of Representatives, 440 believed that Joseph G. Cannon should be re-elected as the speaker of the House of Representatives; 8,600 were against it; 297 believed in leaving the rules of the House in the hands of the speaker, 8,853 were against it; 8,925 were in favor of placing the appointing of committees in the hands of a special committee elected by the members, and representing all sections of the country, 192 were against it. We wonder if the vote will have any effect upon the House of Representatives.
