Grapes, Apples, Beans, Potatoes
Grapes, Apples, Beans, Potatoes.—Are there not many in California, friends of the Door of Hope Mission for women, who have an abundance of the above commodities? Do you not wish to send a small portion to the Lord’s children at the Door of Hope? These things are greatly needed there; the cause is the Lord’s; He has blessed you with these things; He has made you His stewards in dispensing them to His needy ones; now will you not share some of them with the Door of Hope? We are sure that a long appeal is not necessary. The friends of this noble work—the rescuing of the lost and fallen and wounded and wandering—need only to know the needs of this mission to respond. There are also necessities in the way of clothing, such as wrappers, dresses, dark waists, and all kinds of undergarments. Please send promptly, and carriage paid. Address, Mrs. E. E. Swift, Door of Hope, care SIGNS OF THE TIMES, Oakland, Cal.
