A SOLEMN DUTY.

It is especially fitting, aye, more than that, it is the duty of every American man and woman to free their own minds from ancient hatred and hereditary prejudices, and to instill in the minds of their children the humane principles that underlie our civil State. Oscar S. Strauss, in “Religious Liberty in the United States.”
