Infidel Arguments.

There is never any necessity for Christian sisters to make a point of bringing forward arguments in order to answer them. It is the greatest folly in the world. Infidels, poor creatures, do not know their own arguments; tell them, and then they glean their blunts to shoot them at the shield of truth again. It is folly to bring forward these firebrands even if we are well prepared to quench them; men of the world learn error of themselves; let us not be propagators of their fallacies. True, there are some men who are short of arguments and want them to fill up; but God's own men do not need that; they are taught, and God supplies them with wealth, with language, with power.—Spurgeon.
