ROBINSON, BENTON CO., FEB. 10.—Began meetings Jan. 28, in a school-house five miles west of this place. This is a rough, mountainous country, and on this account it was thought best to hold meetings in the daytime instead of at night. Notwithstanding the fact that the weather has been very severe for this section of country, the interest has steadily increased until the present attendance averages from forty to seventy-five each day. At the close of the services last Sunday, nineteen persons evidenced by a rising vote their belief in the seventh-day Sabbath. Of these, thirteen have since signed the covenant, and others have promised to obey. My wife is with me, assisting in singing, visiting, etc. We are of good courage in the work, and ask to be remembered in your prayers. JAMES W. SCOLES.
