POMPEII.—Commenced meetings here Oct. 20, and gave seventeen discourses. Politics agitated the minds of the people, and we had to give up the house to two speeches. Four, all heads of families, took a stand for the truth, and several others were deeply convicted. We were obliged to close last night, as school commences. Let us pray God to bless the seeds of truth to the salvation of the honest.
