The Sunday Herald’s Seven-Day Itch
By Editor
It is thus that the Voice refers to the London edition of the Sunday Herald not long since:— “The New York Herald has introduced its Sunday edition into London. Now this isn’t fair play, Brother Bennett. It reminds us of the Southern doctor who baled yellow fever rags, and shipped them to Northern ports during the war. The English public has enough moral diseases to contend with without giving it this seven days’ itch.” Will the Voice please tell us wherein the Sunday London Herald is the “seven days’ itch”? Is it because the Herald is intrinsically bad? And if not, why is the Sunday edition worse than that of the other days of the week? We wait the explanation.
