Hindrances to Prayer

HINDRANCES TO PRAYER.—1. Want of a steadfast belief in God's promises.
2. Prevalence of a worldly spirit.
3. Want of sincerity in our desires.
4. Want of due regard to God's glory.
5. Want of consistent, appropriate action on our part.
6. Want of reliance on the atonement and intercession of Christ.
We see why so many prayers are unanswered.
