Ecclesiastes 5:11

When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?

When goods multiply, those who consume them multiply with them. The owner is left with no profit from the increase except the beholding of his possessions with his eyes. Mere possession of more therefore yields little practical gain beyond looking upon what is owned. Increase does not necessarily bring satisfaction or lasting benefit.
