Psalms 138:7

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

Though believers walk in the middle of trouble, God revives them and stretches out His hand against the wrath of their enemies, and His right hand saves them. It belongs to the song of God's servants, who praise Him for answering their cries and strengthening them. He is a refuge and very present help in trouble who revives those who walk in the midst of it and lifts His own right hand to deliver and save them from enemies. He does not leave nor forsake His people.

The verse therefore calls for clinging to God in believing prayer with confidence that He will deliver, even sparing the sick from death. It is encouragement for all who wash their robes white in the blood of the Lamb when they meet severe trials and strong resistance. They are to stand firm and honor Christ, to remain sweet under trial with a renewed heart revealing divine grace, and to stay converted under trying circumstances.

They overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of testimony, with prayer and watchfulness. They hold a living hope with thanksgiving and praise that lifts the weary and discouraged to rejoice in the Lord.
