Psalms 20:6

Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

The nineteenth and twentieth Psalms are words of inspiration given to God's people, holding a precious promise to be accepted and a warning to be believed. Those who carry forward God's work in the name of the Lord God of Israel will triumph, because the Lord hears from His holy heaven and gives victory as the God of salvation. Behind that victory His hosts stand behind His people, heaven's angels as ready to help today as in the days of ancient Israel, God Himself their helper and strength, frontguard and rearguard, an almighty arm to lean upon, while a sympathetic Saviour watches and pleads on their behalf.

Every soul is called to awake to the true spiritual condition and to humble heart and mind before God, to be fully awake to the perils surrounding those indifferent to the soul's eternal welfare, and to search the Scriptures as never before, letting the Word educate and guide into what the Scriptures say. When discouragement and trial come, faith is to be put into the work with joyful praise rather than complaint, after the pattern of Israel going into battle singing praise until fear filled their enemies. There is to be a pledge never to speak discouragement and never to turn back, asking for wisdom with unwavering faith that pleases God. The declaration is to be made that triumph in God is certain, so that truth and light will shine into the hearts of those who so trust.
