Psalms 40:17

The Lord keeps the poor and needy in mind, remembering them and caring for them. His thinking upon them is personal and attentive even when they are helpless and in want. That remembrance is carried out through Christ in His office as the great high priest. He bears the name of every repentant and believing person upon His heart while He pleads His blood before the Father in that person's behalf.
