Bŏdge1, v. i.
v. i. [This may be merely a variation of botch, so that it properly signifies, to mend or perform clumsily, to make only patchwork or bungling work; hence, to fail in an enterprise.] To boggle; to stop. [Obs.] We charged again; but out, alas! We bodged again. Shak.
