Chĭt'ter-lings, n. pl.

n. pl. [Cf. A-S. cvidh and cvidha, womb, Icel. qvidr, abdomen, O. H. Ger. quiti, vulva, O. Sw. qved, Goth. qvithus, qvithrs, belly, womb, stomach.] (Cookery.) The smaller intestines of swine, &c., fried for food.
