(klīm), v. i. [imp. & p. p. CLIMBED (CLOMB (klŏm), obs. or vulgar); p. pr. & vb. n. CLIMBING.] [A-S. climban, O. H. Ger. chlimban, chlimpan, N. H. Ger. & D. klimmen.] To ascend or mount by means of the hands and feet; to rise laboriously or slowly.
