n. 1. The act of piercing with a drill, or of using a drill in sowing seeds. 2. [Ger. drillich, L. Lat. trilex, drilex, from Ger. drei, Lat. tres, and licium, a thread of the warp. Cf. TWILL.] A coarse linen or cotton cloth, used for trowsers, &c.
