(faw'kn-er), n. [O. Fr. falconier, fauconier, N. Fr. fauconnier, Pr. falconier, O. Sp. falconero, N. Sp. halconero, Pg. falconeiro, It. falconiere. See FALCON.] A person who breeds and trains hawks for taking wild fowls; one who follows the sport of fowling with hawks. Johnson.
