(frūk'tī-dōr'), n. [Fr., from Lat. fructus, fruit, and Gr. δῶρον*, gift.] The twelfth month of the French republican calendar, dating from September 22, 1792. It commenced August 18, and ended September 16. See VENDEMIAIRE.
