Hō'moi-ōp'to-tōn, n.

n. [Gr. ὁμοιόπτωτος, -ον, in a like case, from ὅμοιος, like, and πτωτός, falling, apt to fall, from πίπτειν, to fall, πτῶσις, a falling, fall, a case.] (Rhet.) A figure in which the several parts of a sentence end with the same case, or a tense of like sound.
