(-nu-măt'ik), a. [Gr. ὕδωρ, water, and Eng. pneumatic, q. v.; Fr. hydropneumatique.] Pertaining to, or employed for the purpose of, collecting gases; — said of a vessel of water, or other fluid, used in certain chemical experiments.
