a. [Written also kimbow.] [Celt. cam, crooked, bent, bowed, and Eng. bow, to bend; any thing bent. See CAM.] Crooked; arched; bent; as, a kimbo handle. Dryden. To set the arms a-kimbo, to set the hands on the hips, with the elbows projecting outward.
