Leū'co-phāne, n.

(lū'ko-fān), n. [Ger. leukophan, from Gr. λευκοφανής, appearing bright or white, from λευκός, white, and φαίνειν, to appear.] (Min.) A mineral, occurring imperfectly crystallized, of a greenish or wine-yellow color, consisting of silica, fluorine, glucina, lime, and sodium.
