Mŭl'ti-foil, n.

n. [Lat. multus, many, and folium, leaf.] (Arch.) A leaf ornament, consisting of more than five divisions or foils. See FOIL.

A pointed Gothic arch containing a quatrefoil-like ornament and smaller arches.
