(pĭm'pl), n. [A-S. pimpel, pustule, pipelian, to blister; Lat. papula, pimple.] (Med.) A small, acuminated elevation of the cuticle, on an inflamed base, not containing a fluid, nor tending to suppuration, and commonly terminating in scurf.
