Pro-pĕr'-i-spōme, n.

n. [Gr. προπερισπώμενον, from προπερισπᾶν, to draw around before, to accent with the circumflex on the penult, from πρό, before, and περισπᾶν, to draw around, to work with the circumflex, especially on the last syllable, from περί, around, and σπᾶν, to draw.] (Gr. Gram.) A word which has the circumflex accent on the penult.
