Scrĭb'ble, v. t.

Sense 1. To write with haste, or without care or regard to correctness or elegance; as, to scribble a letter or pamphlet.

Sense 2. To fill or cover with artless or worthless writing.

Sense 3. (Woolen Manuf.) To card coarsely; to run through the scribbling-machine.
