(108). Certain powders intended to produce the same effect as Sedlitz water. They are composed of the tartrate of potassa and soda (Rochelle salt), with bicarbonate of soda in one paper, and tartaric acid in another. These are dissolved separately in water, and, when mixed, form an effervescing drink. Brande.
