a. [Fr. sexdécimal, from Lat. sexdecim, sedecim, sixteen, from sex, six, and decem, ten.] (Crystallog.) Having sixteen faces; — said of a crystal when the prism or middle part has six faces, and the two summits, taken together, ten faces. [Obs.]
