Stăph'y-lŏr'a-phy, n.

n. [Fr. staphylorrhaphie, from Gr. σταφυλή, a bunch of grapes, and ῥαφή, a seam, from ῥάπτειν, to sew.] (Surg.) The operation of uniting a cleft palate, consisting in paring and bringing together the edges of the cleft.
