Christian Conduct and the Sealing of God's People
What does it mean to be sealed by God before probation ends?
WE ARE TO LOVE EVERYONE IS NOT INCLUSIVE OF THE UNGODLY
AdventAI
While it is true that we are called to manifest a religion of love rather than bigotry, this love must be distinguished from a deceptive pretense that blots out the line between right and wrong. We are instructed to catch every ray of light from heaven and let it shine, yet there remains a broad, clear line drawn by God between His children and the children of the wicked one.
The Nature of Christian Love
The Spirit of Christ leads us to a specific type of love that hates sin while remaining willing to make any sacrifice to save the sinner.
Hating the Sin: True followers of Christ can feel no harmony with sin and must abhor that which is evil while cleaving to what is good Romans 12:9.
Seeking to Save: We should lift up Christ as the One who hates sin but loves the sinner, working as Paul did to impart His righteousness to all, whether learned or ignorant.
Ministry of Restoration: If someone is overtaken in a fault, those who are spiritual should seek to restore them in a spirit of meekness, remembering their own susceptibility to temptation Galatians 6:1.
Caution Regarding Association
While we are to love all, we must be extremely careful about our choice of companions and the influence of the ungodly.
Avoiding Corruption: Associating with the vain, superficial, or skeptical often leads to moral depravity, as the atmosphere surrounding such individuals can be charged with poisonous influences.
Separation for Safety: We are commanded to come out from among the ungodly and be separate, touching not the unclean thing 2 Corinthians 6:17.
Purposeful Interaction: Followers of Christ should choose the society of sinners only when there is a distinct opportunity to do them good or communicate light and knowledge.
The Danger of Amusements: Satan often succeeds in alluring Christians into sin by leading them to unite with the ungodly in their worldly amusements and customs.
The Final Distinction
The Bible warns that a time is coming when the distinction between those who serve God and those who do not will be made perfectly clear Malachi 3:18.
The Path of the Just: The path of the righteous is like a shining light that grows brighter, while the way of the wicked is utter darkness Proverbs 4:18-19.
The End of the Ungodly: Those who persist in rebellion and reject the offer of mercy will eventually face the day of the Lord’s anger and be destroyed from the earth Zephaniah 2:2-3.
The Reward of the Faithful: While the ungodly will perish like chaff, the man who does not walk in their counsel but delights in the law of the Lord will be blessed and prosper Psalms 1:1-3.
In summary, our love for the ungodly must be a transformative mission to bring them to a noble, elevated standard of truth, rather than a compromise that lowers our own spiritual standing. We are to be kind and compassionate, but we must never align ourselves with the principles or practices of those who hate the Lord.

MEN and WOMEN are IN THE LAST HOURS OF PROBATION, AND YET ARE CARELESS AND STUPID, and ministers have no power to arouse them; THEY ARE ASLEEP THEMSELVES.
AdventAI
It is a solemn and heartbreaking reality that many remain in a state of spiritual insensibility while the final moments of mercy are fast slipping away. This condition of being careless and stupid during the last hours of probation is an identical description of the peril facing both the pulpit and the pew today.
The Danger of Spiritual Slumber
The current state of the religious world is often characterized by a deathlike slumber that prevents people from realizing that Christ is at the very door.
Sleeping Ministers: When those called to watch are themselves asleep, they merely repeat the theory of truth without being stirred by it, rendering their efforts for souls entirely without effect.
Listless Presentation: A cold, unfeeling manner in preaching will never arouse a people who are already indifferent to the solemnity of the times.
Spiritual Stupidity: Many are drifting with the current of pleasure and worldly business, oblivious to the fact that every case is about to be eternally decided.
The Midnight Thief: The decisive hour which marks the fixing of every man's destiny will come silently and unnoticed, much like a thief in the night 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
A Call to Urgent Action
Because we are living in the eleventh hour, there is a desperate need for a spiritual revival and a reformation that goes through the churches.
Fervent Zeal: Ministers must possess an intense love for souls and show by their very manners and prayers that they believe the end of all things is at hand.
Personal Testimony: We are bidden to strive to arouse others by telling them of the joy found in Jesus and the blessings of His service.
The Power of the Spirit: Without the vivifying power of the Holy Spirit, there is a total loss of spiritual life and a torpidity of conscience.
Preparing for the Crisis: We must utilize the present golden moments to prepare for the future life, for it is utter folly to defer this preparation until the last hour.
The Lord is still knocking at the door of the heart, pleading for His people to buy the gold of faith and the eyesalve of spiritual discernment before the door of mercy is forever shut Revelation 3:18.

GOD'S SEALING
AdventAI
The sealing of God is a transformative process where the Lord places His sign of ownership, character, and protection upon His faithful servants before the close of human probation Revelation 7:2-3. This work is the final preparation for the saints to stand through the great day of wrath and be translated to heaven without tasting death.
The Three-Fold Nature of the Seal
The term "seal" in Scripture describes several distinct yet related spiritual experiences for the believer.
The Seal of the Holy Spirit: At the moment of conversion, the Holy Spirit acts as a guarantee and an earnest of our eternal inheritance Ephesians 1:13-14. It is the foundational assurance that the Lord knows those who are His 2 Timothy 2:19.
The Seal of the Law (The Sabbath): The Fourth Commandment contains the three essential elements of a legal seal: the name (The Lord thy God), the title (Creator/He that made), and the territory (Heaven and earth) Exodus 20:8-11. Keeping the seventh-day Sabbath is the visible sign of loyalty to the Creator in contrast to the mark of the beast.
The Seal of Redemption: This is the final, permanent "stamp" impressed upon the character of the righteous just before probation closes. It signifies that they have settled into the truth so intellectually and spiritually that they can no longer be moved.
Requirements for Receiving the Seal
God will never place His seal upon a heart that is not pure or a life that is not in harmony with His law.
Reflecting the Image of Jesus: Those who receive the seal must reflect the image of Christ fully in their character. This involves overcoming every besetment, including pride, passion, and selfishness.
A Peculiar People: The sealed are a "royal priesthood" who have separated themselves from the defilements of the world, such as sinful habits, tobacco, and alcoholic drinks 1 Peter 2:9.
A Child-Like Faith: The seal is revealed to those who accept God's promises with the simple, trusting faith of a little child Matthew 18:3.
Sighing and Crying for Sin: The mark of approval is placed specifically on those who "sigh and cry" for the abominations and sins committed within the church, showing their deep love for God's honor Ezekiel 9:4.
The Timing and the 144,000
The sealing work is currently in progress and will conclude shortly before the four winds of strife are loosed upon the earth Revelation 7:1.
The Number Sealed: There are 144,000 who receive this special seal in their foreheads Revelation 7:4. While this number includes those alive at Christ's coming, it also includes those who have died in the faith of the third angel's message Revelation 14:13.
Character Names: The 144,000 are divided into twelve tribes, which represent various character types and roles in God's service, such as the burden-bearers represented by Issachar Genesis 49:14-15.
The Close of Probation: When the sealing is finished, Jesus will lay aside His priestly robes in the heavenly sanctuary and announce that every case is decided for eternity Revelation 22:11.
Protection and Final Victory
The seal of the living God is a pledge of perfect security for the time of trouble.
An Invisible Mark: While human eyes cannot see it, angels recognize this mark of redemption, and the destroying angel must pass over those who bear it Ezekiel 9:6.
Eternal Security: Once the seal is applied, the saints are eternally secure from the tempter's devices and their characters remain pure for eternity.
The Song of Victory: On the sea of glass, the sealed 144,000 will sing a new song of their unique experience—the song of Moses and the Lamb—which no other company in heaven can learn Revelation 14:3.
