God's Divine Design for Man, Woman, and Marriage

Why did God create woman from man's rib instead of the dust?

AdventAI

God made man in his image formed him from the dust from the clay to serve God now then God made women. He made her from one of his ribs. God was friends with man Adam and he thought it was not good for Adam to be alone now he couldn’t make women from clay all over again as a fresh being because then she would just serve God but then it wouldn’t be like a relationship. God saw that Adam needed a woman to serve him. That is why she was formed from his rib from his very pain. This was his bone of bone and flesh of flash to serve him so the way it’s actually meant to be. The man is meant to be a faithful man of God who serves God no woman is meant to be a woman who finds a man and serves a man and his man’s helper to help him to serve God

AdventAI

God created woman from man's rib not merely to be his servant, but to be his equal, his beloved companion, and his true helpmeet, with both husband and wife designed to mutually encourage each other as they unitedly serve God Genesis 2:18.

🌸 God's Beautiful Design for Marriage

  • Companionship and Equality: God made from the man a woman to be a companion and helpmeet for him, to be one with him, and to cheer, encourage, and bless him. In turn, the husband is called to be her strong helper. Rather than being created as a subservient unequal, the wife was designed by God to be her husband's companion and his equal. God took a rib from Adam's side to form Eve so that she would be a part of his own flesh, ensuring that Adam could not help loving her Genesis 2:21-24. This intimate creation beautifully illustrates that they are to be one flesh, cherishing each other as their own bodies Ephesians 5:28-31.

  • Mutual Service and Love: The marriage relationship is built on mutual devotion, where both the husband and the wife seek to elevate one another. Husbands are instructed to love their wives just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it Ephesians 5:25. Men and women are heirs together of the grace of life, and husbands are commanded to give honor unto the wife 1 Peter 3:7. All who enter into matrimonial relations with a holy purpose fulfill God's divine plan, where the husband obtains the pure affections of a woman's heart and the wife softens and improves her husband's character.

  • United in Serving God: Both men and women are equally created in the image of God to serve Him and share dominion over the earth Genesis 1:26-28. Marriage was instituted by the Creator in Eden to be a sacred union where the couple rears families that are crowned with honor and recognized as symbols of the family in heaven. The true purpose of giving one's heart to a spouse is to unitedly give their hearts wholly and unreservedly to God. Both are called to honor God, yielding their wills to Him and overcoming selfishness, so they may enjoy an enduring union with Christ.
