Does Hypnosis Block Spiritual Healing and Physical Recovery?

Can past involvement in hypnosis block your physical recovery?

AdventAI

If I have been hypnotised before & have forgotten to repent of it since I had been baptised ... by the way I do not think the hypnosis worked - I don't think I can be hypnotised however I was a WILLING participant? Could this be part of my relentless dreadful chronic pain condition as to what is blocking a miracle from God of being healed?

It is a very serious matter to yield the mind to another, as this practice is a satanic science that can leave a lasting mark on both the mind and the physical powers. Even if you believe the hypnosis did not work, the act of being a willing participant means you exercised your will to render yourself passively subject to another, which is a dangerous venture into a field that God does not approve.

The Connection Between the Mind and Physical Health

The condition of the mind has a profound influence on physical health, and certain mental states can actively break down your life-forces.

  • Mental Obstructions: Guilt, remorse, and distrust tend to invite decay and death.

  • Spiritual Blight: Accepting unsound theories or being influenced by the "science" of the enemy blights expectations and can act as a hindrance to your physical recovery.

  • Satanic Influence: Satan takes tremendous advantage of the human mind through sciences like phrenology, psychology, and mesmerism to poison the experience and lead individuals into darkness.

Is This Blocking Your Healing?

While God is full of compassion and knows your name and experience, certain choices can indeed act as stumbling blocks or "rubbish" that blocks your way.

  • Hindrances to Prayer: If there is a known fault or a refusal to follow the light given, it can become a stone of stumbling that hinders the blessing of God.

  • Unfinished Repentance: God grants no pardon to those whose penitence does not produce true humility, and sometimes a work of repentance is started but not made thorough.

  • The Necessity of Renunciation: Unless sentiments regarding the "mind cure" are changed and the mind is converted, one remains a spectacle to angels and a hindrance to their own progress.

The Path to Restoration

The wonderful news is that the reservoir of power is full and free for those who come with humble hearts.

  • Seek Forgiveness: You should go to God in penitence, for He is waiting to forgive all who come to Him with a sincere heart.

  • Yield to the Spirit: Repentance is a gift from Christ; you need only submit to be drawn by His Spirit, and your heart will be melted and subdued.

  • Trust in His Mercy: Just as Jacob appealed to God’s mercy by pointing to his past sorrow for his wrongs, you can cry out for help and claim the promise of peace.

  • Claim the Promise: Say to the Lord, "Forgive my sin; I put my hands into Thy hand for help," and He will in no wise cast you out John 6:37.

It is vital to remember that the love of Jesus attracts and subdues the hardest heart, and He is the "great High Priest" who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities Hebrews 4:14-15. You may boldly come to the throne of grace to find mercy and help in your time of need Hebrews 4:16. Please consider connecting with a trusted spiritual advisor or a healthcare professional who understands the integration of mental and physical health to support you in your journey toward wellness.
