Overcoming Morning Depression with Faith and Grace

Es comprensible que las primeras horas del día se sientan como una batalla, pero Jesús desea restaurar tu valor personal y recordarte que eres Su propiedad, comprada con Su propia sangre preciosaCG 42.1. La depresión mental es una carga terrible que afecta tanto al cuerpo como al alma, pero la victoria es cierta cuando nos apoyamos pesadamente en Dios1888 938.5+2.

La falta de valía que sientes es una sugerencia del enemigo, pues Cristo te otorga una estimación infinita y desea que comprendas cuánto te ama el PadreIC 6.2+1. Cuando enfrentes desprecio o soledad, recuerda que incluso David, el ungido del Señor, enfrentó momentos de profunda angustia y humillación, encontrando su refugio en la confesión sincera y en la misericordia divinaTSB 92.3+1. Puedes elevar tu voz con el himno que dice: "Aunque oscuras son las aguas y rugosa es la ola, si Jesús permite las fieras oleadas, las enfrentaré", pues esa música celestial tiene el poder de arrebatar el alma hacia la gloria1EGWLM 320.5.

Para vencer estos pensamientos al despertar, es vital que no confíes en tu propia sabiduría, sino que te entregues totalmente a tu Líder, Jesús13MR 330.2+1. La condición de tu mente afecta tu salud de manera profunda; la tristeza y la desconfianza tienden a romper las fuerzas vitales, pero un espíritu alegre es medicina para el cuerpoCH 344.1+2. No permitas que tu imaginación te juegue trucos ni que las impresiones falsas se conviertan en tu realidad4LtMs, Lt 1, 1883, par. 15. Al momento de orar por ayuda, aunque no sientas alegría inmediata, confía plenamente en que Su promesa se cumplirá tan seguramente como existe el trono de Dios4LtMs, Ms 8, 1885, par. 8.

La iglesia y tus hermanos tienen la responsabilidad de fortalecer a los que están débiles en la fe, y mediante las promesas de Dios, pueden ayudarte a remover la depresión de tu mente2MCP 435.2+1. Mientras otros oran por ti, tú también puedes mirar a los lirios y aprender que la verdadera belleza y el valor real no dependen de la aceptación externa o las riquezas, sino de un carácter noble y un espíritu manso6LtMs, Ms 33, 1889, par. 14. Jesús fue despreciado y odiado a pesar de Su amor infinito, por lo que Él entiende perfectamente tu dolor y está listo para darte óleo de gozo en lugar de luto8MR 241.2+2.
