Fowler Center, Trumbull Co., Dec. 2.— We began meetings Nov. 24 in the M. E. church at this place. We have held eight meetings, with an average attendance of one hundred. We have just opened the Sabbath question. Some show of fight is manifested by a Disciple minister. We desire the prayers of the faithful.
R. A. UNDERWOOD. N. J. BOWERS.
Van Wert and Dunkirk, Dec. 2.— I met with the brethren at Van Wert Sabbath and first-day, Dec. 22, 23. The T. and M. work was taken up, two new members were obtained, and all expect to make this work a specialty hereafter.
Nov. 24, I was called to Dunkirk to attend the funeral of a child of Bro. and Sr. Packer. The T. and M. and H. and T. work received attention. Members to both societies were obtained. Since that time I have been holding meetings here, with a fair interest. About $10 worth of books and papers have been taken. One has decided to keep the Lord’s Sabbath, and one desires baptism.
This is my home and the place where I commenced the observance of the Sabbath over two years ago, under very unfavorable circumstances and encountering the bitterest opposition.
Pray for me, that others, through my influence, may see the warning message of the third angel. G. G. RUPERT.
