SPECIAL NOTICE.

MEETINGS IN ALL OUR CHURCHES, SUNDAY, DEC. 21, 1879.

The General Conference at its last session, and also the meeting of the General Tract and Missionary Society, laid important plans for future labor. Both these organizations passed resolutions relative to the circulation, and a more general and careful reading, of the writings of Mrs. E. G. White.
The dangers of our people, and also their duties, were presented before her in her late wonderful vision, especially the duty of giving our reading matter a more extensive circulation. Testimony for the Church No. 29 will be hurried through the press as quickly as possible. An address, embodying the most important light upon present duty, will be immediately prepared, and sent out to church elders and librarians to be read before our people at the special meeting on the 21st.
At this meeting all our people should make arrangements for family reading, and for more active operations in the missionary work during the winter. More definite suggestions will be given in connection with the address as to the many important matters to be considered at this meeting. More particulars next week.
