1 Chronicles 16:26

For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

The Lord is set apart from every god worshiped by the peoples, because He alone made the heavens while they are only idols. That contrast exposes the worthlessness of the idols of the nations beside the Creator's power and majesty. Amusements such as the games in view belong on the side of those idols, for indulgence in them is itself a form of idolatry that the verse rejects.
