1 Chronicles 23:29
Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size; Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
The verse belongs to the last chapters of 1 Chronicles that establish the worship of God under David, prepare for the building of the temple, and record the accession of Solomon to the throne under the special blessing of God. The coming magnificence of that temple is shown by the vast treasure of gold, silver, brass, iron, copper, and precious stones prepared for it.
The Levites were charged with preparing the showbread and the fine flour for the grain offering. They made unleavened cakes and prepared foods baked in the pan or fried. They also attended to all measures and sizes, handling the measures and quantities needed for the sanctuary service.
