1 Kings 10:21
And all king Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon. And all king Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
All of Solomon's drinking vessels were of pure gold, and so were all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon. Silver was counted as nothing in his days, showing the extreme luxury of his court. This wealth was selfishly spent on the king's ambitious projects instead of being used to relieve the poor or to make lasting improvements for the nation.
