1 Kings 11:19

And Hadad found great favour in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.

The verse records that Hadad won great favor in Pharaoh's sight, so that Pharaoh gave him as wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen. It stands within the account of Hadad as an adversary raised up and stirred up to harass Solomon and to trouble him and weaken his kingdom. God permitted this adversary to trouble Solomon after Solomon's unfaithfulness.
