1 Kings 7:8

And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had taken to wife, like unto this porch.

The house in the verse is a palace that Solomon built for Pharaoh's daughter, who was his first wife. That palace was made like Solomon's own dwelling house, modeled after its porch with another court within. Its building was an extravagant use of wealth, for it was constructed of costly stones inside and out, from the foundation to the coping.
