Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith? Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
Paul prayed night and day, continually, earnestly and exceedingly, that he might see the believers face to face and visit them in person. His purpose in wanting to come to them was to supply and complete what was still lacking in their faith, so that it might grow stronger and fuller. Their good report, their faith, and their steadfastness in the Lord had already brought him great joy and comfort amid affliction.
