2 Chronicles 9:24
And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
Each year kings from many lands came to Solomon to hear the wisdom that God had put in his heart, bringing as presents vessels of silver and vessels of gold, raiment, harness, spices, horses, and mules, at a set rate year by year. Their coming gave opportunity to teach them that God is the Creator. They went back to their homes with a clearer understanding of Israel's God and of His compassionate love, and many were led to worship Him. Through Solomon's righteousness and wisdom Israel thus bore testimony to the nations of God's power and shone as a light to the world.
