2 Corinthians 7:3

I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you.

Paul does not speak these words in order to condemn the Corinthians. His language carries no sentence of judgment against them, but expresses pastoral care rather than reproach. He reaffirms what he has said before, that they are in his heart to die and to live together with them. This shows a close affection that binds him to them in a shared experience of life and death.
