Deuteronomy 29:6
Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God. Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God.
The verse stands within Israel's renewing of its covenant with the Lord. It belongs to a call for the people to renew that covenant with God. That renewal means putting away stubbornness of heart.
