The joining was formed by blue loops set along the edge of one curtain from the selvedge where the coupling met. Matching loops were made on the uttermost side of the other curtain at the place where the second coupling joined, so that edge answered exactly to edge. Such careful and exact construction shows the precision and skill required in work done for divine service.
