The fitting of the entrance curtain into its place at the doorway of the sanctuary was one element in the orderly and dignified assembling of the whole structure. That careful arrangement was intended to impress upon Israel the majesty and holiness of God and the purity required of all who enter His service. The same order and dignity also displayed God to the nations around Israel, so that well-ordered arrangements in His work now likewise reveal His character to others.
