Ezekiel 17:13

The king's seed taken in Ezekiel 17:13 is Zedekiah, the last in David's line to sit on the throne of the Lord over the earthly kingdom of God. He was made subject to the king of Babylon and entered into a solemn covenant before God to loyally render allegiance to him. He broke that covenant, and for that breach God removed the diadem and took off the crown.
The overturning of the kingdom meant it would be no more until He come whose right it is. The one whose right it is is Jesus Christ, to whom the throne of His father David will be given to reign forever at the end of this world.
