Ezekiel 20:41
I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.
The verse stands as a warning that mercy has been shown and warnings have been given. Those who have received that mercy are held accountable to appreciate it and to heed the warnings that accompany it. Failure to value such mercy and to listen to such warning places God's own people under accountability. Those who disregard mercy and warning will be punished.
